Working With Landscapers when Selling a House
If you have decided to sell your home, one of the first calls you need to make is to me at Steven Vandora and Associates or to some other trusted landscape professional. Thats because landscaping is a vital factor and an overlooked one -- when selling your home. Home stagers are professionals who decorate, clean and set up your home to get you the maximum price for your property. These professionals not to mention real estate agents often mention the importance of landscaping.
Landscaping adds to the curb appeal of your home. Curb appeal simply refers to the impression your home makes before a potential home buyer even walks through the front door. This first impression is vital and often makes of breaks a sale. Unfortunately, all too often home sellers overlook landscaping as an unneeded expense. They are often completely unaware of the first impression their home makes and that costs them when they try to sell.
Through Steven Vandora and Associates I have worked with sellers, real estate agents and home stagers and what I have learned is that it really does not take expensive landscaping to make your home sell quicker and for more money. Usually what is needed is a through cleaning of the front green spaces of your home and some maintenance work to get rid of overhanging branches, overgrown grass and other problems. Once things are cleaned, I usually like to bring in a few removable elements a few potted plants in large planters or even some portable lights if the home will be sold in the evening. You can even rent these items if you wish to save even more money.
